At the Salzburg Festival Hall all operas and concerts, especially during the Salzburger festival, can be seen here. The small Festival Hall was built in 1924/25 and was converted into Mozart’s house in 2006. The big Festival Hall originated between 1956 and 1960.

Festival Hall and sights to see in Salzburg

After a visit to the Festival Hall Salzburg, the sightseeing tour then carries on through Salzburg’s old town, past Salzburg Cathedral in the direction of the Fortress Hohensalzburg. It is a sporty climb on foot up to the fortress and for those that don’t fancy that, they can take the Salzburger funicular railway up. After a successful trip to the Salzburg Festival Hall then it is time to head back to your comfortable home away from home in Altenmarkt. After a fun bbq evening on the nice sun terrace at the Ennstalerhof, the exciting evening can get underway.
