Approximately 70 kilometres south of the festival city Salzburg , in the midst of the wonderful mountain world of the Salzburger Sport World, lies the double holiday Paradise Altenmarkt Zauchensee, sitting at 856 meters to 1,350 meters above sea level. This cosy, steeped in tradition place, which already looks back on a long history, has approximately 3,400 inhabitants and offers in summer and in winter varied vacation pleasures for young & young minded people. Particularly worth seeing here are the local heritage museum & the church, which was built in 1390 and consecrated in the year 1418 to the Holy Mary.
