Großglockner & High Alpine Road – approx. 90 km

The summit of pleasure is the Grossglockner (3,798 m), Austria’s highest mountain; it is located within Europe’s largest alpine national park. It towers over Austria’s enormous mountain, Hohen Tauern, it towers above the longest and even-most moderate glacier of the east alps, the Pasterze. The Grossglockner high alpine road, which most probably is the most famous of panorama routes in Europe, has opened this fascinating high mountain landscape to the public.
